Objectives:

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Describe holistic care for families enduring perinatal death
  • Review racial disparities in perinatal loss and cultural implications for bereavement
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in pregnancy loss and infant death
  • List resources available to health professionals and families during pregnancy & bereavement

*CE for RNs and SWs only. 

NURSES: This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Up to 8.0 contact hours will be awarded upon completion of course activity and evaluation.
